As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with the medical director and office manager to deliver administrative and clinical support. Your responsibilities will encompass greeting patients, managing appointments, handling phone calls, and assisting providers during patient examinations.

Summary of Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming patients and addressing their inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination, ensuring efficient clinic flow.
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, directing them appropriately or taking detailed messages.
  • Prepare exam rooms for patient visits, ensuring they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist providers during patient examinations by taking vital signs, documenting medical histories, and preparing patients for procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and externship
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting, including scheduling and receptionist duties
  • Fluency in Spanish is required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
