CoxHealth is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Patient Access Team Lead to join our team. As a key support resource, you will provide extensive knowledge of duties and job functions for the Patient Access Services team, serving as a vital link between staff and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and support to staff members, addressing workflow and system function inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and reporting concerns to supervisors and relevant teams.
- Coordinate and facilitate training for new team members, working closely with supervisors and other team leaders to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
- Assist in team member assignments, re-assignment of work duties, and carry out other duties as assigned by management.
- Act as a backup to supervisors, covering duties in their absence and collaborating with peer supervisors and managers to ensure continuity.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of experience in patient access team roles, with a proven track record of assisting others, knowledge of current procedures, and demonstrated skill in teaching and mentoring.
- Preferred: CHAA or CRCR certification.
