Job Summary

As a Manager II of Behavioral Health Psychology at Kaiser Permanente, you will be responsible for leading a medium-sized group or program with both administrative and client caseload responsibilities. This role requires a strong understanding of social service agencies, state regulations, and APA standards related to client treatment, patient rights, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Makes budget recommendations and has counseling/disciplinary responsibilities, including conducting performance evaluations and allocating resources.
  • Responsible for overall program design and operations within the unit, including access outcomes and resource allocation.
  • May participate on regional committees and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience under the direction of a licensed psychologist or board-certified psychiatrist.
  • Ph.D, Psy.D, or Ed.D in clinical or counseling required from an accredited college or university.
  • Psychologist License (California) and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Additional Requirements
  • Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
