As a Manager II - Behavioral Health Psychology, you will be responsible for leading a medium-sized group or program within the Behavioral Health department. This role requires a strong administrative and client caseload management background, with a focus on budgeting, personnel management, and program design and operations.
Key Responsibilities- Makes budget recommendations and allocates resources effectively.
- Has counseling and disciplinary responsibilities, including conducting performance evaluations and managing personnel.
- Responsible for overall program design and operations within the unit, including access outcomes and resource allocation.
- May participate in regional committees and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience under the direction of a licensed psychologist or board-certified psychiatrist.
- Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Psychologist License (California) and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and APA standards related to client treatment, patient rights, and client/patient confidentiality.
- Previous clinical responsibilities, including psychological testing, diagnosis, crisis intervention, and brief individual and group psychotherapy.
