Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Develop and implement budget recommendations to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide counseling and disciplinary responsibilities, including conducting performance evaluations and allocating resources.
  • Team Management: Oversee a larger team, such as Adult/Child or CDS, and provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Program Design and Operations: Develop and implement overall program design and operations within the unit.
  • Access and Outcomes: Ensure access to services and monitor outcomes to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Committee Participation: Participate in regional committees to contribute to the development of behavioral health services.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience under the direction of a licensed psychologist or board-certified psychiatrist.
  • Education: Ph.D, Psy.D, or Ed.D in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited college or university.
  • License and Certification: Psychologist License (California) and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and APA standards related to client treatment, patient rights, and client/patient confidentiality.
  • Clinical Experience: Previous clinical responsibilities, including psychological testing, diagnosis, crisis intervention, brief individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
