Camp Administrative Assistant Job Description

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a highly motivated and organized Camp Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our camp operations team, you will be responsible for managing accounts, communicating with members, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts with outstanding payments, including communication via phone and email to the account holder.
  • Communicate with members reflecting the voice of the Y, being kind yet firm upholding policies.
  • Update account and registrations in a timely manner and according to payment schedules.
  • Participate as a member of the staff team and provide support and assistance as required. Attend staff meetings and trainings.
  • Assist with reporting, roster and sign in sheet creation as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate with related office experience.
  • Excellent computer and math skills. Ability to utilize spreadsheet and word-processing packages.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and perform with precision in a timely manner.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to staff and members.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to understand the business of the YMCA.
  • Ability to work with diverse individuals; build and contribute to the team in accomplishing the mission of the YMCA.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills; possess a passion for member service, building and maintaining a culture of member service excellence.
