YMCA Administrative Assistant

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a highly motivated and organized Camp Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our camp operations team, you will be responsible for managing accounts, communicating with members, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts with outstanding payments, including communication via phone and email to the account holder.
- Communicate with members reflecting the voice of the Y, being kind yet firm upholding policies.
- Update account and registrations in a timely manner and according to payment schedules.
- Participate as a member of the staff team and provide support and assistance as required. Attend staff meetings and trainings.
- Assist with reporting, roster and sign in sheet creation as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School graduate with related office experience.
- Excellent computer and math skills. Ability to utilize spreadsheet and word-processing packages.
- Ability to be a self-starter and perform with precision in a timely manner.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to staff and members.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to understand the business of the YMCA.
- Ability to work with diverse individuals; build and contribute to the team in accomplishing the mission of the YMCA.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills; possess a passion for member service, building and maintaining a culture of member service excellence.
