Job Opportunity

Delta-T Group is seeking a highly qualified Child Care Lead Teacher to provide support to children in various settings. The ideal candidate will possess effective management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective management skills and techniques for an Early Childhood age level population
  • Communicate with site director administration, fellow teachers, service staff, parents, and guardians
  • Write targeted student progress reports
  • Adapt expertise to meet student learning needs
  • Work with parents and community members to meet student learning needs
  • Prepare, implement, and record daily lessons
  • Share talents and skills to enhance the student's school program
  • Be alert to individual student learning styles
  • Attend and participate in parent conferences and IEP meetings

Requirements:

  • Commitment to student success
  • Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse children and families
  • Associates degree (or higher) in early childhood education or enrolled in a degree program geared to obtaining Child Development Associate CDA
