Job Opportunity at Dawn to Dusk Child Development Center

We are seeking a dedicated and creative individual to lead our Preschool and Infant Classrooms at Dawn to Dusk Child Development Center. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment for all children in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute age-appropriate educational programs using Creative Curriculum.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families and colleagues.
  • Regularly update parents on their child's progress and engage them in the educational process.
  • Create and support family engagement activities.
  • Familiarity with ITERS (plus)
Requirements:
  • A.A. degree or higher in Early Childhood Development or an A.A. degree or higher with at least 12 credits in Early Childhood Development.
  • Five years of professional teaching experience (preferred) or three years of professional teaching experience (required)
  • Be fully vaccinated or willing to obtain vaccination against COVID-19 (required)
  • Have an updated health certificate and TB test or willing to obtain
  • Drug and alcohol testing - mandatory upon employment
  • Pass background and fingerprinting check.
  • Have the ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Commit to furthering your education and training.
  • Have CPR Certification (preferred)
  • Have a Child Development Certificate (CDA) (preferred)

We offer a competitive salary of $30.69 - $36.11 per hour. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
