Delta-T Group Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Child Care Lead Teacher to join our team in the Washington, DC area.

The successful candidate will provide support to children in various settings, including intermediate units, public, private, and charter schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective management skills and techniques for an Early Childhood age level population
  • Communicate with site directors, fellow teachers, service staff, parents, and guardians
  • Write targeted student progress reports
  • Adapt your expertise to meet student learning needs
  • Work with parents and community members to meet student learning needs
  • Prepare, implement, and record daily lessons
  • Share talents and skills to enhance the student's school program
  • Be alert to individual student learning styles
  • Attend and participate in parent conferences and IEP meetings
Requirements
  • Commitment to the success of each student
  • Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse children and families
  • Associates degree (or higher) in early childhood education or enrolled in a degree program geared to obtaining a Child Development Associate CDA with intentions of graduating in four years with a Bachelor's Degree
