Job Opportunity at Curious Mind Bilingual CDC

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team at Curious Mind Bilingual CDC. As a key member of our early childhood education center, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for our young students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children.

  2. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.

  3. Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and cooperation.

  4. Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and company standards.

  5. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

  6. Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and promotes social-emotional learning.

  7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Manager.

Requirements:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

  2. At least 18 years of age and able to pass a thorough background check and fingerprint check.

  3. Infant/Child First Aid/CPR certification required; willingness to obtain certification before the first day of work.

  4. Reliable transportation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.

  6. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances.

  7. Passion for working with young children and commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education.
