About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bilingual Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service, assist customers in person and over the phone, and resolve any customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales: Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis by presenting appropriate products and services to customers, processing sales transactions accurately, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options with customers, suggesting ways to improve sales and providing recommendations to meet customer needs.
  • Inventory Management: Comply with inventory control procedures, maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, and pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Age and Authorization: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Driver's License: Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Education: Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position, preferably with experience selling paint and paint-related products and operating tinting and mixing equipment.
