The base salary for this position in Los Angeles ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 per year, with an additional annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity.

Job Description

This role plays a critical part in managing the company's payroll, benefits, and overall HR data functions. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of payroll for all employees.

  • Manage day-to-day payroll functions for assigned countries, including new hires, terminations, bonuses, direct deposits, off-cycle payrolls, ESPP, stock vests, and monthly/semi-monthly payroll cycles.
  • Verify various payroll outputs and ensure accuracy, submit journal entries to Accounting.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations affecting payroll, ensuring the company remains compliant at all times.
  • Be responsible for accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, and other forms of compensation.
  • Prepare reconciliations related to People and benefits data and follow up with internal partners to resolve variances.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of payroll, tax, or accounting experience.
  • Employee benefits experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll reporting, taxation, and general accounting.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal payroll and tax regulations.
  • Experience with Workday is a strong preference.
