We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our team at HR&A Advisors, a leading consulting firm dedicated to improving the quality of life in cities. As a key member of our analytical staff, you will play a vital role in shaping our data-driven approach to urban development.

The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Analyst with a passion for urban development and policy. Your expertise in complex analysis, financial modeling, and statistical analysis will be invaluable in helping us drive our mission forward.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct real estate market analysis, housing and land use regulation review, and prepare real estate pro formas for various uses.
  • Support transaction structuring and negotiations, infrastructure funding and financing strategies, GIS mapping, fiscal and economic impact modeling, and public policy analysis.
  • Develop written reports, presentations in PowerPoint, and Excel models for clients, as well as proposals for new projects.
  • Manage project tasks, mentor junior staff, and take ownership of project deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in complex analysis, including financial modeling and statistical analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Proficiency in synthesizing analysis and presenting findings clearly to internal executive leadership and external clients.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing written reports, client presentations, and proposals.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, Economics, or Public Policy.
  • Master's degree in Real Estate Development (MRED), Business Administration (MBA), Urban Planning, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
