Job Title: HR Compliance Coordinator

CRISTA Resources is seeking a highly skilled HR Compliance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the background check process for all new hires, current employees, volunteers, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive background check protocols that include criminal history and other relevant assessments.
  • Review and analyze the current background check process to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Research and recommend new tools or methodologies for conducting background checks that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure that background checks are tailored to meet the specific needs of various roles within the organization.
  • Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of the background check process, making adjustments as necessary to enhance compliance and candidate experience.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, law, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in background check coordination or human resources, preferably in a senior living setting.
  • 3-5 years of experience with at least 3 years of experience in human resources.
  • Strong understanding of background check processes and relevant laws in Washington State and nation.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources.
