About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team at Mountain View Veterinary Clinic in Central Point, Oregon. As a vital member of our hospital team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting with surgical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Room patients, prepare them for exams and procedures, and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment
  • Draw blood, run bloodwork, and perform other laboratory tests as needed
  • Operate x-ray equipment, position patients, and develop x-ray images
  • Provide excellent customer service, educate clients on animal care and health, and promote our hospital's services
  • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification
  • 2+ years of veterinary experience, preferably in a general practice hospital
  • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment, including x-ray machines and laboratory equipment
  • Passion for working with animals and their owners, with excellent communication and organizational skills
