ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Construction Project Coordinator who is ready to be actively involved in project execution—providing daily support to field operations, project management, and client teams. Our Project Coordinators play a crucial role in ensuring that our processes run smoothly and assist in the implementation of project plans. This position will entail specific responsibilities such as coordinating material delivery schedules, maintaining Requests for Information (RFI), submittals, and change order logs, and serving as a primary contact for internal stakeholders.
Knowledge: Develops proficiency in applying professional concepts. Utilizes company policies and procedures to address routine challenges.
Job Complexity: Engages with problems of limited scope. Adheres to standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which solutions can be readily derived. Fosters stable working relationships internally.
Supervision: Typically receives detailed instructions on all tasks.

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
At Cupertino Electric, you will embark on a career development journey towards project management. You will work directly under a project manager or project executive within a team that collaborates with field, engineering, and design teams. A deep understanding of electrical construction is not required; however, a willingness to learn and a passion for the field are essential. You will have the opportunity to absorb knowledge from everyone you interact with—from journeymen to general foremen to project teams assigning daily tasks. Alongside hands-on experience and mentorship from your colleagues, you will participate in vendor off-site visits, training sessions, and other educational opportunities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that, in the sole judgment and discretion of the company, would likely provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as any required licenses or certifications, may qualify.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Licensure/Certifications: None required.
Experience: No prior construction or related experience is required. Two years of construction or related experience is preferred.
Driving Record: Valid state-issued driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Travel: 0% - 25%
