Job Description

This role is an introduction to tenant improvement construction and project management, where you will learn from industry leaders and participate in multiple fast-paced projects throughout the year. You will gain hands-on experience and witness every aspect of the construction process, from project estimating to close-out.

As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

    • Assisting the Project Team with bid documentation, plotting and distributing plans, and preparing for project reviews.
    • Issuing and tracking Subcontractor execution, setting up new job profiles in Timberline, and preparing Subcontractor Lists.
    • Setting up Submittal Logs, Shop Drawings Logs, Drawing Logs, Request for Information (RFI) logs, Change Order Request and Change Order Logs, etc.
    • Preparing letters of intent/subcontracts/requests for insurance as needed, and performing photocopying and other administrative duties.

You will also be responsible for:

    • Tracking insurance, contracts, bid bond, and performance bonds.
    • Assisting the Project Team in obtaining documents and preparing Close-Out binders for the projects.
    • Tracking Subcontractor/Vendor invoicing, supporting the Director of Operations, and rolling out new processes and procedures for Operations.
    • Maintaining Operations filing materials, assisting with general office administrative practices, and coordinating with Field Superintendents for project administration tasks.

The successful candidate will possess:

    • An Associate Degree in Administration, Certificate, or 3 years' experience.
    • Previous experience working with a General Contractor in a similar capacity is preferred.
    • Superb organization skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to identify and prioritize tasks based on importance and deadlines.
    • Outstanding time management, flexibility, and the ability to multitask and establish priorities with an effective course of action.
    • A self-sufficient and self-starter who is flexible and willing to modify plans when necessary.
    • The ability to accomplish routine tasks, work well with others, and take time to help coworkers, clients, and subcontractors.
    • Problem-solving skills, using resources and gathering information to effectively find a solution.

$29 - $40 an hour

The actual salary offer will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for health, disability, life, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.
