Position Summary: The Documentation Source Testing Manager is responsible for supervising the development, upkeep, and quality control of technical documentation and source code testing protocols within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the implementation of the company’s safety, health, and environmental initiatives for the team. Ensure adherence to safe work practices and environmental protection in line with company policies and regulations.
  2. Uphold the company's policies, principles, and procedures, including Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and security protocols.
  3. Plan and allocate tasks to the drafting team to meet project timelines and budgetary constraints.
  4. Collaborate with the Technology Integration team to ensure that training and performance align with effective drafting practices.
  5. Assist in establishing and maintaining standards and procedures for creating models, drawings, and related documentation.
  6. Coordinate drafting requirements with sales, engineering, and project management teams to effectively utilize drafting resources.
  7. Engage with all departments on continuous improvement efforts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and achieve quality, timeliness, and cost objectives.
  8. Lead a team of drafters to interface with clients, sales, operations, engineering, and project management to produce construction documents utilizing CAD/Revit software.
  9. Ensure that drawings include all necessary views and dimensions for clear and precise presentation, fabrication, and erection of precast panels and architectural systems.
  10. Perform additional duties as required.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Availability to work 5 days a week from 8 AM to 5 PM (this is not a remote position).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capability to adapt and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers is essential.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of Solidworks is advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Strong creative design, problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail are essential.

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in documentation management and source code testing, particularly in software development projects.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in mechanical drafting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, twist, and turn for extended periods (varies based on daily tasks).
  • Capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 lbs., such as files and stacks of paper.
  • Strength, dexterity, coordination, and vision to use a keyboard and computer monitor for prolonged periods.
