Our Mission

We are seeking a seasoned risk professional to join our Business Risk team. The team is responsible for first-line operational risk management across Consumer businesses, including risk identification, key risk indicator reporting, and conducting risk assessments. This role will collaborate with product, operations, compliance, and other teams to drive enhancement of proactive risk identification programs.

The successful candidate will:

  • Partner with business functions and cross-divisional stakeholders to implement and enhance our first-line risk management frameworks, including risk identification and assessment, and operational resiliency approaches.
  • Drive the strategy for proactive risk identification and measurement, including gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing risk indicator data.
  • Identify and assess business risks and required controls, both on an ongoing basis and in response to issues, emerging risks, and business environment changes.
  • Work closely with enterprise risk teams to ensure business line risks are being appropriately identified, aggregated, and shared.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience; advanced degree (MBA, JD) a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in leading Operational Risk, Compliance, and/or Control teams for consumer financial products.
  • Ability to drive a culture of risk management and compliance, while balancing delivery of a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and counterparts across multiple functional areas.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to drive multiple projects concurrently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate (both in writing and verbally) with executives and senior leadership across the three lines of defense.
