This essential position will focus on detecting emerging threats, methodologies, and trends, along with strategies for protection or defense against them. The ability to communicate these findings effectively to various stakeholders is crucial. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, time management expertise, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Continuously monitor and conduct comprehensive analyses of threat intelligence feeds and other relevant sources to detect potential cyber threats, including malware and phishing.
  • Leverage the MITRE ATT&CK framework to assess researched threats against existing security measures; analyze threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Deliver actionable intelligence and strategic recommendations to enhance detection, disruption, and eradication of threat actors.
  • Manage advanced cybersecurity solutions pertinent to Detection and Response capabilities, including continuous threat management and dark web surveillance.
  • Create and maintain detailed threat intelligence reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Engage in proactive threat hunting to identify signs of threats that may have bypassed existing security controls, focusing on indicators of compromise and lateral movement.
  • Support incident response activities with relevant threat intelligence.
  • Stay informed about the evolving cybersecurity landscape and emerging threats.
  • Monitor and analyze threat actors/groups that pose a risk to the organization and collaborate with internal teams on defensive strategies.
  • Lead the development of presentations and executive briefings regarding significant security incidents and findings for senior management.
  • Foster relationships with peers, internal business partners, and external threat intelligence communities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity threat intelligence or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
  • Ability to advise on threat trends, analysis techniques, and defensive strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized with a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Research-oriented with experience in analyzing and tracking threat campaigns and adversary tools.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework in intelligence reporting.
  • Experience with attack surface management and dark web monitoring solutions.
  • Knowledge of malware analysis and incident response.
  • Prior experience in threat intelligence and incident response.
  • Relevant cybersecurity and threat intelligence certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCTI, C|TIA, CEH).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This role primarily operates in an office setting with occasional fieldwork. Work hours are determined by departmental needs, and may include after-hours, weekends, and travel as required.
