Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with APHIS regulations, including data collection and management systems, regulatory documentation, and facility listings.
  • Regulatory Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Procurement, and R&D, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration on regulatory matters.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, technology, policy, natural/animal sciences, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of work experience in regulatory affairs, product development, international shipping/logistics, and/or compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: Master's or PhD or DVM degree.
  • Regulatory Experience: 3+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, quality, compliance, or legal work.
  • Pet Food Experience: Proven experience in the pet food industry or a technical background in regulatory science, quality assurance, product development, laboratory sciences, or similar work experience.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: Salary range $81,000.00 - $114,000.00 USD.
  • Benefits Package: Comprehensive benefits package, including insurance, retirement plans, vacation/PTO, paid holidays, and paid sick leave.
