This is an advanced administrative role providing comprehensive support to the Division of Water Resources and the Division of Basin Management and Modeling.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the preparation, editing, and review of Governing Board items, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Manage the Division's SharePoint sites, maintaining up-to-date information and archiving old materials.
- Develop and implement the Division's annual learning and development plan, coordinating staff participation and updates.
- Provide administrative support for the Division, including mail screening, scheduling, and document management.
- Coordinate reviews of external abstracts and presentations, and assist with orienting new staff to District and Division processes.
- Manage procurement requests, track budget and account information, and submit contract and procurement items through the Contract Information System.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and process electronic travel forms.
- Manage Division SharePoint sites, expanding the use of new Microsoft tools to populate and manage databases and process various requests.
- A high school diploma or GED, and 5 years of progressively responsible administrative assistant experience; or formal education may substitute for work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) for document development, collaboration, and sharing.
- Skilled in the use of networking tools such as Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, and OneDrive for file sharing and creation.
- Ability to work in a general office environment.
The St. Johns River Water Management District offers a competitive salary range of $44,640.00 to $55,640.00, based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include a hybrid schedule, Florida Retirement System, health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, paid leave and holidays, professional development, wellness program, and eligibility for public service student loan forgiveness program.
