Research and Development Team Lead

The Research and Development Team Lead will be a key member of the R&D Product Development Team at Schreiber Foods. This role will involve leading a team of scientists in developing new and innovative products and manufacturing processes to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Develop and implement strategies to drive innovation and growth in the R&D department, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure timely completion and successful outcomes.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring that all projects are executed with the highest level of quality and technical expertise.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including customers, suppliers, and management, to ensure that project goals and objectives are met.
- Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve departmental processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects are executed in compliance with relevant regulatory standards and company policies.
- Team Development: Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in dairy and cultured products, with a proven track record of successful new product development.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead project teams and manage remote resources.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 15% to various Schreiber, customer, and supplier sites.
