The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to the Sports Foundation fundraisers, as well as contribute to the development of fundraising strategies and plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced administrative support to the Sports Foundation fundraisers, including meeting and travel arrangements, gift and pledge recording, and high-level correspondence.
- Contribute to the development of fundraising strategies and plans, including proposal pipeline maintenance and research.
- Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with other development associates and fundraising staff.
- Provide technical and logistical support to the fundraisers, including information technology tasks and functions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, such as fundraising, development, sales, customer relations, higher education, and administration.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and project and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently multitask and prioritize workload.
- Willingness and ability to occasionally work a non-traditional schedule as needed.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with audio/visual and presentation platforms.
- Experience in a higher education, fundraising, or non-profit setting.
- Strong project/time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability with computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), including experience/ability to identify and emphasize diverse perspectives in programming, communications, and strategy.
- Ability to apply tact and maintain confidentiality. Customer-focused, customer service orientation.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to handle and complete multiple projects concurrently.
- Must have a degree of computer proficiency and Information Management Skills to carry out the major responsibilities of this position.
