Job Description

The Department of Dermatology at Brown University is seeking a board-certified dermatologist to serve as Director of Hospital-based Dermatology. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate dermatologist to lead and grow the consult service at Rhode Island Hospital, while developing relationships across other medical and surgical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient dermatologic care, with specific protected time and salary for inpatient consults.
  • Work closely with the dedicated full-time dermatology consult resident to triage consults and provide in-person and teledermatology consultative care.
  • Supervise and educate Brown Dermatology residents and other trainee rotators.
  • Nights/weekend call, shared amongst dermatology faculty.
