Position Overview

SAIC is in search of a Program Manager to collaborate with the United States Air Force in aligning intelligence community collection frameworks, capabilities, and technologies with Department of Defense operational needs. This initiative aims to provide swift, innovative, and cost-efficient solutions to address pressing warfighter demands, incorporating space capabilities across all combat domains, including intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, combat operations, battlespace awareness, command and control, multi-level security, and mission programs. This forward-thinking strategy will leverage the latest advancements in geolocation, sensor and data fusion, unconventional warfare, situational awareness, cyberspace operations, large data analytics, and jamming technologies to create a state-of-the-art approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and integrate activities in line with contract specifications, ensuring technical, scheduling, cost, and financial performance. Identify discrepancies and propose corrective measures.
  • Develop and sustain agile development documentation and models using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies is preferred.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to a diverse team.
  • Formulate and execute a team strategy aligned with customer needs and directives.
  • Facilitate and delegate tasks to support customer priorities and initiatives.
  • Monitor the program's financials, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Act as the liaison between SAIC and the client.
  • Manage multiple task orders with varying deadlines, deliverables, and budgets.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 18 years or more of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years in planning, directing, coordinating, and managing project methodologies related to Air Force Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation.
  • At least 10 years of experience in manpower utilization, standards, problem-solving, and employee relations, including subcontractor management, budgeting, and milestone tracking.
  • Possession of a Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management, Level III Certification.
  • Experience with USAF TENCAP and managing rapid R&D/prototyping initiatives.

Desired Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years in an Air Force acquisition or Intelligence Community project management role leading integrated teams of engineers, analysts, and project management personnel.
  • 10+ years of program management experience in R&D or rapid acquisition development projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in general Engineering or a specialized engineering technology discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, etc.).
  • Experience in project integration.
  • Experience in successful project transition from prototype to sustainment.

Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The displayed estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
