Job Title: Bilingual Case Manager

At the Community Economic Defense Project, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bilingual Case Manager to provide comprehensive, intensive, and case management to individuals experiencing chronic homelessness and housing instability, with a specific focus on those facing challenges related to substance misuse and co-occurring mental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop personalized care plans to address clients' strengths and needs, including behavioral health concerns, housing barriers, and other challenges affecting their well-being.
  • Collaborate with clients to connect them with appropriate community resources, such as substance abuse treatment programs, mental health services, medical care, and vocational training.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and needs, ensuring their rights are respected and met.
  • Provide counseling and support to clients, helping them navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided, ensuring compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, behavioral health challenges.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction principles, and evidence-based practices in behavioral health.
  • Familiarity with community resources, housing programs, and support services for homeless individuals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Ability to demonstrate a steadfast commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary of $60,000, plus $1,000 hybrid pay differential.
  • Benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
  • Technology stipend of $720 per year.
  • Eligibility for a $2,000 per year differential for bilingual employees.
