Job Summary:

IT Concepts is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our VA-ESOM- End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing Information Technology related projects, with experience in tracking costs, schedules, and performance progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all assigned tasks through to completion, adhering to schedules, budgets, and scopes.
  • Develop project charters, facilitate kick-off and status meetings, and maintain clear communication about project expectations and roles.
  • Conduct regular and formal reviews with both project sponsors and the VA PM.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and schedules.
  • Monitor project milestones, identify potential schedule risks and issues, and manage cost, resources, schedules, and technical challenges.
  • Notify VA management of any critical issues and develop project management plans.
  • Participate in the development of project standards and procedures.
  • Manage approved change orders, track project metrics, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • At the completion of each project, provide a Project Completion Status Report detailing objectives achieved, project metrics, and stakeholder feedback.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects.
  • Well-versed in life cycle and project management methodologies.
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Experience in Agile Product Management.
  • Must communicate clearly to team members and be comfortable with coordination and collaboration.
  • Must possess superior oral and written communication skills to convey issues, reports, and other deliverables clearly and effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP certified - preferred.
  • Located in the region for ease of travel to sites within the region.

Clearance Requirement:

  • US Citizen.
  • Willing and able to get a Public Trust Suitability clearance.
