Job Summary:

Vail Resorts is seeking a seasoned executive to lead the development and execution of the company's long-term strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic or corporate development, with a strong focus on M&A strategy and execution. This role will oversee acquisition efforts globally, including due diligence, deal execution, and post-acquisition transition and integration efforts. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to the CFO and a key leader in the Finance Senior Leadership Team and Executive Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the company's long-term strategic planning, with a focus on network expansion opportunities.
  • Lead global M&A strategy, including alignment to corporate objectives, due diligence, deal execution, and post-acquisition transition and integration efforts.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team, with a focus on driving value, delivering results, and stakeholder influence.
  • Cultivate relationships across all levels of the organization and maintain high-level confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in senior finance leadership roles.
  • 10+ years in strategic or corporate development roles, with a focus on M&A strategy and execution.
  • 10+ years of experience in people management and professional development, with a demonstrated ability to build, manage, develop, and motivate a team.

Vail Resorts offers a hybrid work environment for Broomfield-based roles, where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
