ROLE SUMMARY:


The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of all housekeeping areas, including storage spaces, linen rooms, administrative offices, employee break areas, and restrooms.

This role involves removing trash and soiled linens from units while promptly addressing requests from guests and supervisors as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasks includeMaintaining cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as necessary.
Emptying and sanitizing all waste receptaclesTransporting soiled linens to designated storage areas.
Removing trash from hallways and disposing of it properly.
Responding to radio communications and fulfilling guest/supervisor requests.
Restocking housekeeping closets with linens, guest supplies, and cleaning materials, ensuring organization and cleanliness.
Reporting inventory issues to the supervisorMaintaining tidiness in employee areas and housekeeping storage.

Preparing soiled linens for collection by the linen service and relocating clean linens to appropriate storage locations.

Assisting housekeepers as required.
Alerting the Maintenance Department to any repair needs or concerns.

Informing the supervisor of any workplace or safety issuesThis role requires availability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. This job description provides a general overview of responsibilities and is not an exhaustive list of tasks and expectations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
(Minimum requirements)Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Most tasks are performed indoors with a controlled temperature environment.
Must be able to stand and maintain mobility for an average shift of 8 hours.
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly and maneuvering carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.

Ability to move efficiently in limited spaces and reach various floors of the building in a timely manner.

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to complete cleaning tasks.
Requires manual dexterity for operating necessary equipment and products.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including non-slip shoes, protective eyewear, and gloves.

COMPENSATION:

The base hourly pay/salary range represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resort's compensation for this position.

Actual pay may vary based on factors such as experience, education, training, location, merit, and job responsibilities.

The range provided is one component of Winter Park Resort's total compensation package, which may include various region-specific benefits.

Salary/hourly pay range:
$21.46 hourly

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Indoor/Outdoor:
Employees may be exposed to varying outdoor weather conditions while performing job duties.
