Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections of snowcats and related equipment
  • Engage in nightly team briefings
  • Receive assignments from the Terrain Park Grooming Supervisor
  • Understand and execute nightly maintenance goals for the terrain park
  • Safely operate grooming machinery
  • Complete maintenance tasks for terrain park features
  • Transport and install terrain park elements
  • Assist with handwork around park features as necessary
  • Support trail groomers in fulfilling the nightly maintenance agenda
  • Perform additional snowcat projects as directed
  • Ensure equipment is fueled safely
  • Conduct post-operation checks on machinery
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage
  • Report any mechanical issues to maintenance staff
  • Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude throughout the season

Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions
  • At least 2 years of experience operating snowcats preferred
  • Experience with half pipes or Zaugg equipment is a plus
  • Strong understanding of terrain park terminology and practices
  • Ability to ski or ride terrain park features is advantageous
  • Reliable transportation for non-standard work hours
  • Punctuality and adherence to the work schedule are essential
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • First aid certification is preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 60 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity for operating tools and equipment
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
