Job Summary

SOSi is seeking an experienced Director of Contracts and Compliance to lead our contract administration team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the negotiation and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Administration: Direct the negotiation and administration of contracts, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of contracts professionals, providing learning opportunities, feedback, and training.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal regulations, company policies, and industry standards, implementing risk mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Contract Closeout: Coordinate contract closeout requirements, ensuring accurate and complete contract records and documentation.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop, support, and maintain customer relationships, ensuring positive and constructive interactions.
  • Contract Review: Review complex solicitations, preparing specialized and/or non-routine responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.
  • Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI): Evaluate OCI issues, drafting mitigation plans as necessary.
  • Internal/External Audit: Support internal/external audit activities, as well as data requests from internal/external customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
  • Experience: 15+ years of US Government contracts management as a prime contractor, with experience across large multi-million-dollar programs.
  • Leadership: 5+ years of leadership of prime contractual organizations, with oversight of direct reporting employees.
  • Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a US TOP SECRET clearance, as required.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with ability to present to varying seniority levels both internally and externally.
  • Organizational: Highly organized individual with ability to conduct business in a professional manner, with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Writing: Excellent writing skills, including drafting of contract correspondence, terms and conditions, and statements of work.
  • Adaptability: Ability and willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Task Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without sacrificing quality or timeliness.
