Job Summary:
The Fairfield County Hospice House Inc is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with hospice providers and the nursing staff to provide high-quality care to terminally ill residents.

About the Role:
This is a per-diem and full-time opportunity for a compassionate and detail-oriented nurse who can deliver emotional and social support to our residents. As a Nurse Specialist, you will implement and assess the hospice plan of care to optimize pain and symptom control at end of life. You will also supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in their care duties and report to an RN Clinical Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to terminally ill residents
- Implement and assess the hospice plan of care
- Supervise and support CNAs in their care duties
- Collaborate with hospice providers and nursing staff

Requirements:
- 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Superior empathic communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
