About the RoleThis is a full-time, night shift position, working 7pm – 7:30am. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, conducting interviews and behavioral health assessments, and responding to telephone inquiries.
Responsibilities- Conduct interviews and behavioral health assessments for potential admissions, including telehealth assessments.
- Respond to telephone inquiries from persons seeking mental health care or information about mental health-related services.
- Coordinate transportation to another facility and/or referral to a lower level of care as indicated.
- Document calls and related admission information.
- May staff crisis hotline as needed.
- Review all paperwork accompanying patients to ensure adherence to hospital and regulatory policies.
- Perform insurance verification and prior-authorization based on payor requirements.
We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Behavioral Health or a related field. No experience is required, but a passion for delivering exceptional patient care is essential.
