Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide brief behavioral interventions for a broad spectrum of physical and mental health problems using evidence-based techniques. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping our patients navigate their mental health journey and achieve optimal wellness.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide brief behavioral interventions for patients with a range of mental health concerns, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as behavioral activation, problem-solving treatment, and motivational interviewing.
  • Assess patient care using biopsychosocial models of human behavior and development, including knowledge of adult and pediatric screening instruments and substance abuse identification.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Effectively communicate patient information to medical providers and other treating professionals through electronic health records and verbal communication.
  • Facilitate treatment plan changes and referrals for patients requiring more intensive or specialized mental health care.
  • Track patient follow-up and clinical outcomes using a registry.
  • Participate in team meetings, consultations, and case presentations.
  • Contribute to daily clinic operations, including process improvement and team-based approach development.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or higher in clinical psychology, behavioral science, clinical social work, or a related field.
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Psychologist.
  • Georgia state independent license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing behavioral health services to a wide range of ages, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with evidence-based counseling techniques.
  • Experience working in EMR systems, NextGen preferred.
  • Experience in coding and documentation, preferably with Medicare Advantage and HCC.
  • Experience working with MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clinical experience within an integrated care delivery system.
  • Flexible, high-energy level, team player, and strong interest in health and fitness.
  • Working knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial treatments and brief behavioral interventions for common mental health disorders.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.

Employee Health Requirements:

Documentation of Hep B vaccination or proof of immunity (titer).
