Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at Mercy Care Atlanta. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling, therapy, and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care management processes and ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in community health events and provide education on behavioral health care and prevention.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to the behavioral health services team.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in human services or a related field with LAPC, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW licensure.
  • At least five years of experience in mental health/substance abuse recovery services.
  • Proficiency in psychosocial assessments and documentation.
  • Valid Georgia Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting.
