Role Summary and Requirements

Role Summary and Requirements

Under the general guidance of the Director of Food and Nutrition, the Nutrition Services Coordinator will oversee patient nutritional care and manage all clinical operations within the department. This role requires an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan to accurately assess patient nutritional needs based on age and specific requirements. Responsibilities also include assisting with performance evaluations and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical dietetics within a hospital setting, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software is preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Registered Dietitian (RD) and Texas Licensed Dietitian (LD) certification required.
