Your contributions are vital. Each role plays a significant part in enhancing our patients' experiences, and we seek a committed Registered Nutrition Specialist to join our dedicated team.
Role Responsibilities and QualificationsAs a Registered Nutrition Specialist, you will oversee the nutritional care of patients under the guidance of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. A strong commitment to service, safety, and professionalism is essential for providing the highest quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Nutrition Support Team, including pharmacists and physicians.
- Conduct nutritional screenings and assessments for patients.
- Educate patients on dietary requirements and therapeutic diets.
- Guide support staff in determining appropriate food options based on prescribed diets.
- Document patient responses to nutritional interventions and provide recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
- Commission Dietetic Registration.
- Licensure as a Dietician must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
