Principal Responsibilities
  • Analyze samples of finished products, in-process materials, waste material, raw materials, etc., as necessary using approved procedures and ensuring results are accurate.
  • Maintain lab equipment and supplies. Prepare solutions, reagents, and make up/analyze standard solutions.
  • Able to perform non-routine analyses on special materials as needed.
  • Recommend improvements in methods of sampling, analyzing, and handling materials.
  • Maintain and draft standard operating procedures for the lab.
  • Support all in-process production testing including operator training and in-process lab needs.
  • Work in a safe manner following the Lab's Chemical Hygiene Plan.
  • Work in a manner consistent with the site's ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 quality and environmental management systems.
  • Maintain Lab SDS books.
  • Proficient computer skills.
