Principal Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing samples of finished products, in-process materials, waste material, raw materials, etc., using approved procedures and ensuring accurate results.
  • Maintaining lab equipment and supplies, preparing solutions, reagents, and making up/analyzing standard solutions.
  • Performing non-routine analyses on special materials as needed.
  • Recommending improvements in methods of sampling, analyzing, and handling materials.
  • Maintaining and drafting standard operating procedures for the lab.
  • Supporting all in-process production testing, including operator training and in-process lab needs.
  • Working in a safe manner following the Lab's Chemical Hygiene Plan.
  • Working in a manner consistent with the site's ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 quality and environmental management systems.
  • Maintaining Lab SDS books.
  • Being proficient in computer skills.
