Job Title: Senior Financial Project Manager

Tencent Americas is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Project Manager to lead the implementation and deployment of our Workday Financial platform. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing large-scale Workday Financial engagements and complex IT projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the global Workday Financials implementation project, ensuring timely and successful delivery of project milestones.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, as well as coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including procedures, manuals, and other relevant materials.
  • Administer the scrum board, ensuring cards are up-to-date, backlog is robust, and goals are clear.
  • Proactively eliminate blockers and manage roadblocks to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of technical project management experience, with a focus on Workday Financial implementations.
  • Experience managing large-scale Workday Financial engagements or complex IT projects.
  • Proficient in Workday Financial modules, including Financial Management, Banking & Settlement, Projects, Expenses, Supplier Accounts, and Procurement.
  • Proficient in all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle.
  • PMI or Scrum Alliance certifications in Program Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master competencies.
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies, process, and change management tools and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks while overseeing many different aspects of the projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues and stakeholders in remote locations and varying time zones.
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Experience working with Agile Project Management tools, such as Jira, and Documents Sharing tools, such as Confluence.
  • Bilingual (English, Chinese) preferred.

The base pay range for this position is $136,620 to $249,970 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
