Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practitioner to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical evaluation, treatment, counseling, and referrals to patients under the supervision of, and/or in collaboration with, the attending physician.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic remediation, surgical assistance, and pharmaceutical prescription as needed.
  • Participate in patient satisfaction, quality, and performance improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient management and treatment plans based on assessment of needs.
  • Coordinate and communicate patient care effectively with other healthcare professionals and institutions to meet patient's healthcare needs.
Requirements
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
  • Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for Physician Assistants.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to sit for up to 8 hours per day, stand for up to 8 hours per day, and walk for up to 6 hours per day. The ability to frequently lift, carry, and push objects up to 10 pounds and rarely lift, carry, and push objects up to 75 pounds is also required. Additionally, the ability to perceive attributes of an object through touch, hear normal conversation, high and low frequencies, see general, near, far, color, and peripheral vision, and speak normal conversation and project as it relates to lectures and presentations is necessary.

Education

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field is required. A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred.
