About the Role

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager to join our team at UH Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, Ohio. As a Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will be responsible for managing the clinical nutrition program, collaborating with the implementation and management of Sodexo's meal service program and menu management system, and fostering a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the clinical nutrition program at UH Samaritan Medical Center, ensuring high-quality patient care and nutrition services.
  • Collaborate with the implementation and management of Sodexo's meal service program and menu management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Spent 75% of time in clinical care, providing direct patient care and nutrition services.
  • Foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development, ensuring that team members have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Proactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, administrators, and other team members.
  • Oversee the preparation of Joint Commission/state/federal and company standards, ensuring compliance and regulatory readiness.
  • Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects, ensuring that the clinical nutrition program is aligned with Sodexo's strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
  • 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners.
