Job Description

At US Bank, we're committed to helping our customers and communities thrive. As a Senior Regulatory Attorney, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our bank's compliance with regulatory requirements and providing expert legal counsel to our business teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our Legal Regulatory Group, Risk Management, and Compliance teams to provide regulatory legal advice and support.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex regulatory matters, including prudential regulations and rulemakings.
  • Identify and recommend advocacy initiatives to advance our positions with regulators.
  • Collaborate with business teams to develop and implement regulatory compliance strategies.
  • Review and analyze regulatory issuances to ensure compliance and provide guidance to our teams.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience as an attorney in a regulatory agency, law firm, or in-house at a financial institution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in bank regulatory law, including the Dodd-Frank Act and its attendant regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
