Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Parker. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and producing accurate diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, adhering to safety protocols and minimizing patient exposure to radiation.
  • Produce high-quality images in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring optimal patient care.
  • Prepare patients for exams, providing clear instructions and addressing their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assist patients during exams, positioning them safely and comfortably.
  • Monitor patient and equipment during procedures, reporting any unusual occurrences and documenting patient conditions.
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of equipment/resources.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology - R.T. (R) (ARRT) certification required.
  • Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association certification required.
  • Bone Density certification preferred within 6 months of hire, if applicable to entity.
