Job Summary: Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in a short-term acute care hospital. As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly.
- Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures, including scan results and any complications.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- One to three years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Current certification in computed tomography (CT) technology.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
