About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Children's Hospital Colorado. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Produce high-quality radiographic images, accurately demonstrating anatomy and pathology.
  • Facilitate patient flow, managing STAT/urgent and high-priority patients with efficiency and care.
  • Provide age-appropriate care and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing detailed information about procedures and care.
  • Maintain required competency in dose reduction techniques and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
  • Act as a first responder in emergency situations, providing Basic Life Support (BLS) until help arrives.
  • Assist healthcare providers with procedures as necessary, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiology program.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
