Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our Endoscopy department at Straub Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between patients and our professional staff, providing warm and friendly assistance.
- Interview, register, admit, and update patients' medical records with accuracy and efficiency.
- Process professional and technical fees generated by department providers in a timely manner.
- Perform cash handling and collection duties with precision and attention to detail.
- Work effectively under minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of clerical support experience in a healthcare setting or related field.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Experience with EPIC system a plus.
