Our Mission
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Safety Professional to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the achievement of our safety and health goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
- Administer and direct compliance with corporate safety and health policies and procedures
- Coordinate and facilitate subcontractor pre-construction safety planning meetings
- Act as a resource for field operations on federal, state, and local safety and health regulations
- Review subcontractor site-specific safety programs and job hazard analyses
- Attend and monitor tool box talks to ensure documentation and quality
- Investigate job site accidents and collect incident reporting forms and documentation
- Coordinate with regional risk managers to identify claims trends and proactive risk management planning
- Review documentation from subcontractors for proper training of employees
- Conduct training on OSHA 10 or 30 Hour, HAZWOPER, and other safety-related topics
Requirements
- 0-3 years of related work experience in construction health and safety
- Working knowledge of federal and state safety and health regulations, as well as local building code issues
- Bachelor's degree in construction or safety preferred but not required
- Willingness to achieve CHST designation
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to make decisions promptly and with confidence
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and multitask

Working Conditions
The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking is required.
