Job Summary

The Administrative and Office Specialist I role provides career tracks for operational and administrative support specialists. This entry-level position involves performing well-defined office duties under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine office support activities, including alphabetizing, filing, photocopying, sorting, and delivering mail.
  • Work in a structured environment with minimal variation from detailed instructions.
  • Apply knowledge of basic office practices, procedures, and equipment, such as computers, fax machines, and copiers.
  • Utilize knowledge of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and basic mathematics to perform tasks accurately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the office operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience: Some up to four years
  • Licensure: None
Work Environment

This is a primarily sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. Occasional walking may be required to attend meetings or programs.
